Frerard

I’m completely amused. Sort of. Well, I’m in class and bored out of my mind, so I’m entertaining myself with some Frerard. Most of these are randomly taken off of Flickr. Ha.
Hotness.

Hotness.
It’s finally happened, I think. Johnnie is totally overwhelmed. To see where her time went, she kept track for a week…
I haven’t hardly done my project for Flash Fundamentals because Becks was finally online for a day to do MCRime. I could be charging $30/hr for this stuff but I’m not. I do this stuff because I like to do it, not because I want to fail a class. I have a quiz today and a practical tonight that I probably won’t do very well on, and my project is due at 7pm. I spent about 20-30 hours on MCRime last week alone. The effing layout looks fine in FireFox and Safari, but crappy in I.E. so I need to make some modifications. However, the site can’t launch until I have a few days with the domain name anyways.
Mikey Way and related projects have become a full-time job. Mikey Way alone I spent about 40 hours last week into Monday. It may be just a fansite or whatever, but that thing has become my life and I love it. I really love it, and I love to watch good things happen to it (which, if things are going to go in my favor, I’ll start making some money soon). Mikey Way includes the main WordPress site, gallery, and forum. 8 hours was spent on the Media site (which will be a separate site from Mikey Way and is a partnership with Brandi), and 30 minutes (if that) on Brandi’s banner.
I’m also an avid reader of LiveJournal, Guitar Angel, Jemjabella, and Green Day Authority. I can be caught trolling Buzznet, YouTube, the WordPress Codex (yeah, I’m a nerd), and Absolute Punk.
And how much time have I spent in school? On campus, last week, 40 hours. Maybe 4 hours outside of class. And it doesn’t totally count because I’ve been known to work on the above things while in lecture and lab, as well as obsessively checking email.
I haven’t been to bed before 6am all week. I haven’t had a full meal in awhile. I’m about to clean off my couch and do sporatic naps.
I need to get my stuff in line.
Oh, but at least Michael Curry realizes he doesn’t take responsibility for himself or the stuff he does. In fact, he was quite vocal about it. I give him props for that, dude. Not a lot of people can admit something like that in themselves.
On the bright side, I get to see Kathleen on sunday!
So I mucked the site up a wee bit. It’s fixed. Blogging later
Come and go now as you please
Your actions write the melodies
To the songs that we sing
And you just sing
And I finally found that life goes on without you
And my world still turns when you’re not around
Is this the way you want it?
Is this the way it has to be?
Sitting here beside you
But my heart’s lost in New Orleans
Dreams come clever
Hearts now severed
Difference of forever
And I am lost there
Come and go now as you please
Your actions write the melodies
To the songs that we sing
And you just sing along out loud

Dyed my hair last night. Originally, I’m a little blonde-ish (light brown), but now it’s a dark brown with a wee bit of a purple tint. It’s so pretty. I freaking love it. Luke was the first person to notice by himself lol.
Speaking of Luke, he introduced me to what could possibly be my new favorite Geek Toy: MacRabbit’s CSSEdit. Take a website. Any website. Load it in the preview browser. Muck up the CSS. Think I’m kidding? Nope! It’s so funny. You can take, say, Microsoft’s website and turn it pink if you wanted. It doesn’t affect the site; just the preview browser. Other than that, it’s actually really useful, making the changes live as soon as you make them in the coding. And it’s fun to muck up people’s sites. Ha!
Speaking of dying my hair, while I was waiting on it, I started in on In Search of Eden by Linda Sparks. I’m hardly through the first chapter, but I can already tell this is going to be good.
Oh, man, I’m gonna be upset. I have to completely redo Mikey Way Online. I’m trying to make it standards compliant but, in addition to that, I’m getting errors in WordPress basically because I coded the theme wrong and now it’s not displaying comments (the whole thing) or entry authors.
Onto my new music discoveries: Johnny Hollow, The Audition, Mayday Parade, All Time Low, The Maine, Anberlin. They’re fantastic and I’ve been listening to them on repeat.
Music rediscoveries: Three Doors Down, Reggie And The Full Effect.
By the way, Reggie and the Full Effect’s new CD, Last Stop: Crappy Town, is totally rockin’ my socks. End of story. I just got it in the mail today (via UPS) with the limited edition tee (came with the preorder) and my 6 magazines that I need to scan and put up on Mikey Way Online.
